Website and Stylist Portal Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Beauty Trend website and the private Beauty Trend stylist portal.

By accessing or using the website or stylist portal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the applicable website features or portal.

1. About Beauty Trend

Beauty Trend provides wedding makeup and hairstyling services in Greater Montreal and surrounding regions.

In these Terms, “Beauty Trend,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Beauty Trend and its authorized representatives.

2. Scope of these Terms

These Terms apply to:

  • Use of the Beauty Trend website

  • Website forms and online communications

  • Google Sign-In used for the Beauty Trend stylist portal

  • Access to and use of the private stylist portal

  • Information and materials made available through the website or portal

These Terms do not replace a client’s quotation, booking agreement, invoice, service contract, cancellation policy, bridal guide, or other written agreement.

When a separate written agreement applies to bridal or event services, that agreement governs the services and prevails in the event of a conflict.

3. Website information

Beauty Trend makes reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current. However, website content is provided for general information and may be changed without notice.

Website content does not guarantee:

  • Availability for a particular date

  • Acceptance of a booking

  • A specific artist assignment

  • A final price

  • A particular result

  • The inclusion of a particular service

A booking is not confirmed solely because a form was submitted, a quote was requested, or a message was sent.

Bookings are subject to availability, acceptance by Beauty Trend, any required agreement, and receipt of the required payment or deposit.

4. Quotes, prices, and services

Prices, promotions, service descriptions, travel fees, timing estimates, and availability displayed or discussed through the website may be subject to confirmation.

A personalized quotation may depend on factors including:

  • Event date

  • Location

  • Travel requirements

  • Readiness deadline

  • Number of services

  • Bridal party size

  • Artist availability

  • Scheduling requirements

  • Complexity of the requested services

  • Other event-specific circumstances

The terms contained in the client’s accepted quote, invoice, booking agreement, or other written confirmation govern the applicable services.

5. Permitted use

You may use the public website for legitimate purposes such as:

  • Learning about Beauty Trend

  • Requesting information or a quote

  • Communicating about services

  • Accessing information provided to you

  • Completing authorized forms

You must not:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to an account, system, form, or portal

  • Interfere with website security or operation

  • Introduce malware, malicious code, or automated attacks

  • Scrape, copy, or extract website data through unauthorized automated means

  • Impersonate another person

  • Use the website or portal for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes

  • Use contact information obtained through Beauty Trend for unauthorized solicitation

  • Attempt to bypass access restrictions or security controls

6. Stylist portal eligibility

The stylist portal is a private operational resource intended only for individuals authorized by Beauty Trend.

Having a Google account does not automatically provide the right to access the portal.

Beauty Trend may:

  • Approve or refuse portal access

  • Require a matching authorized email address

  • Assign permissions based on a user’s role

  • Restrict the information visible to a particular user

  • Suspend or terminate access

  • Change portal features or access requirements

Access is personal to the authorized user and may not be transferred or shared.

7. Google Sign-In

Authorized users may be permitted to sign in using Google.

Google authenticates the user’s Google account. Beauty Trend may receive basic profile information needed to identify the user and connect the Google account to an authorized Beauty Trend website account.

Using Google Sign-In does not give Beauty Trend access to the user’s Google password.

Unless separately and clearly authorized, Google Sign-In does not give Beauty Trend access to the user’s Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Calendar, contacts, or other private Google content.

The availability and operation of Google Sign-In may also depend on Google’s systems, terms, privacy practices, and account policies.

8. Account security

Portal users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining control of their Google and Beauty Trend accounts

  • Protecting their devices and login sessions

  • Signing out when using shared devices

  • Preventing others from using their access

  • Promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access

  • Keeping account information current

Users must not share portal access or allow another person to use their account.

Beauty Trend may suspend an account when it reasonably believes that the account has been compromised, misused, or accessed without authorization.

9. Confidentiality of portal information

The stylist portal may contain confidential or personal information relating to:

  • Clients

  • Brides and bridal parties

  • Event locations

  • Wedding dates

  • Schedules and readiness times

  • Assigned artists

  • Contact information

  • Service requirements

  • Internal processes and documents

  • Pricing, compensation, or operational details

Portal users must:

  • Access only information needed for their authorized work

  • Use portal information only for Beauty Trend assignments and operations

  • Keep client and business information confidential

  • Avoid downloading, copying, or sharing information unnecessarily

  • Not disclose portal information on social media or to unauthorized persons

  • Take reasonable steps to protect information on their devices

  • Promptly report any suspected loss, improper disclosure, or unauthorized access

Portal access does not transfer ownership of Beauty Trend or client information to the user.

Confidentiality obligations may continue after portal access or the user’s relationship with Beauty Trend ends.

10. Portal availability

Beauty Trend may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the stylist portal.

We do not guarantee that the website, portal, forms, or Google Sign-In will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device.

Portal users remain responsible for following any backup communication or scheduling procedures provided by Beauty Trend.

A technical problem does not authorize a stylist to ignore an assignment, schedule, deadline, or communication received through another channel.

11. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and portal and their contents are owned by or licensed to Beauty Trend.

This includes:

  • Text

  • Branding

  • Logos

  • Images

  • Graphics

  • Forms

  • Guides

  • Templates

  • Training materials

  • Processes

  • Page designs

  • Databases

  • Portal content

You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, modify, or commercially exploit Beauty Trend materials without prior authorization.

Authorized stylists may use materials made available through the portal only for the Beauty Trend purpose for which they were provided.

12. User submissions

When you submit information through the website or portal, you confirm that:

  • The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge

  • You are authorized to provide it

  • Its submission does not violate another person’s rights

  • Beauty Trend may use it for the purpose for which it was submitted

You remain responsible for any content, photographs, references, instructions, or other materials you provide.

13. Third-party services

The website and portal may rely on or link to third-party services such as Google, payment processors, form providers, hosting providers, mapping tools, communication systems, or social-media platforms.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Beauty Trend is not responsible for the independent acts, availability, content, or policies of third-party providers, except to the extent required by applicable law.

14. Privacy

Beauty Trend’s collection and handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy:

By using the website or portal, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review the Privacy Policy.

15. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the website and portal are provided on an “as available” basis.

Beauty Trend does not guarantee that:

  • Every website statement will be free from error

  • Every feature will always be available

  • The website or portal will be compatible with every device

  • Third-party systems will operate without interruption

  • Electronic communications will always be delivered immediately

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Beauty Trend is not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses resulting solely from:

  • Temporary website or portal unavailability

  • A third-party service interruption

  • Unauthorized use caused by a user’s failure to protect their account

  • Reliance on general website information instead of a confirmed written agreement

  • User-submitted information that is inaccurate or incomplete

This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

17. Suspension and termination

Beauty Trend may restrict, suspend, or terminate website or portal access where reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect clients or team members

  • Protect confidential information

  • Respond to a security concern

  • Investigate suspected misuse

  • Enforce these Terms

  • Comply with law

  • End access following the conclusion of a working relationship

Upon termination, the user must stop accessing and using the portal and must securely delete any portal information retained without continuing authorization, subject to applicable legal obligations.

18. Changes to these Terms

Beauty Trend may update these Terms to reflect changes in:

  • Website or portal functionality

  • Business practices

  • Security requirements

  • Third-party services

  • Legal or regulatory obligations

The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Quebec.

Any dispute relating to these Terms will be handled by a court or tribunal with jurisdiction in Quebec, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction established by applicable law.
